Reference Management

To ensure consistency and accuracy in citations and references, PLUSMINUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika strongly encourages authors to use reference management software when preparing their manuscripts.

Authors may use any reference management software that supports APA Style (7th Edition), including:

  • Mendeley
  • Zotero
  • EndNote
  • RefWorks
  • Other software supporting Citation Style Language (CSL)

Using reference management software helps authors to:

  • Organize and manage references efficiently;
  • Insert in-text citations automatically;
  • Generate reference lists consistently;
  • Reduce citation and formatting errors;
  • Easily update references during manuscript revision.

All manuscripts submitted to PLUSMINUS: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika must use APA Style (7th Edition) for both in-text citations and reference lists.

Authors using Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or other reference management software should select the APA 7th Edition citation style before generating citations and bibliographies.

The Editorial Board recommends that authors ensure all references are complete and accurate, including DOI information and URLs whenever available.

Authors are encouraged to cite relevant, recent, and high-quality scholarly sources. Whenever possible, references should be drawn from peer-reviewed journal articles, particularly those published within the last five years. Authors should avoid excessive reliance on non-academic websites, unpublished materials, or sources that cannot be verified.

For detailed information regarding citation and reference formatting, please refer to the Author Guidelines.
