PENGGUNAAN MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS ENGLISH SIMPLE SENTENCES PADA MATA KULIAH BASIC WRITING DI STKIP GARUT

Permasalahan dalam penelitiani: 1). Apakah penggunaan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis mahasiswa? 2). Apakah media pembelajaran konvensional juga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis mahasiswa?. 3). Apakah terdapat perbedaan peningkatakan keterampilan menulis mahasiswa antara yang menggunakan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dengan yang menggunakan media pembelajaran konvensional?. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, dengan anggota sampel sebanyak 50 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Penggunaan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif dapat menigkatkan hasil menulis mahasiswa dalam menulis English Simple Sentence pada mata kuliah Basic Writing dengan perolehan nilai gain kategori sedang. 2). Penggunaan media konvensional dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis mahasiswa dalam menulis English Simple Sentence pada mata kuliah Basic Writing dengan perolehan nilai gain dengan kategori rendah. 3). Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil menulis mahasiswa yakni mahasiswa yang menggunakan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif lebih baik dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang menggunakan media konvensional.
Problems in research: 1). Can the use of Interactive Learning Multimedia improve student writing skills? 2). Can conventional learning media also improve student writing skills? 3). Are there differences in students' writing skills between those using interactive learning multimedia and those using conventional learning media? This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method, with a sample of 50 people. The results of this study indicate that: 1). The use of Interactive Learning Multimedia can improve the students' writing results in writing English Simple Sentence in the Basic Writing course with the gain of the moderate category gain. 2). The use of conventional media can improve students' writing skills in writing English Simple Sentence in the Basic Writing subject with the acquisition of low category gain scores. 3). There is a difference in the increase in the results of writing students namely students who use Interactive Learning Multimedia better than students who use conventional media.
