This activity was carried out in collaboration between the Directorate for the Development of Belief in God Almighty and Indigenous Communities, Directorate General of Cultural and Tradition Protection, Ministry of Culture of the republic of Indonesia, and the Kampoeng Batara Traditional School in Banyuwangi. The activity aimed to disseminate the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) for indigenous community facilitators and identify good practices in accordance with the SKKNI that have been implemented by indigenous community facilitators, particularly in Banyuwangi. The two-day activity, with five speakers and approximately 50 participants, took place at the Kampoeng Batara Traditional School in the Papring area of Kalipuro, Banyuwangi. The output of this activity was a written cultural identification of each indigenous community, which will be used as a learning resource by the facilitators. Results showed that 9 of the 37 submitted writings identified and documented culture, but were incomplete and incompletely validated. These findings require follow-up, including: maximizing cultural identification, writing with a correct flow, and cultural validation by traditional elders. This activity has the potential to improve the skills of indigenous community facilitators in accordance with the SKKNI, especially in identifying culture and writing it as teaching material for indogenous community education.
