Author Guidelines
Thank you for considering submitting your research manuscript to our Research in Physics Education (RiPE) Journal. To ensure the smooth processing of your submission and to maintain the quality and integrity of our publication, please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Scope and Focus
Our journal focuses on original research, theoretical developments, and innovative practices in the field of physics education. Submissions should address significant issues in physics education, such as effective teaching methodologies, learning outcomes, curriculum development, assessment techniques, and the integration of technology in physics instruction.
2. Manuscript Preparation
All manuscripts must be written in English and prepared according to the latest edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) style guide. Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or LaTeX format. Use a clear and concise writing style, avoiding unnecessary jargon and technical language that may hinder understanding for non-specialist readers.
3. Structure of the Manuscript
Title Page: Include the title of the manuscript, names and affiliations of all authors, corresponding author's contact information, and a brief abstract (150-250 words). Main Text: Organize the manuscript into sections such as Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
Figures and Tables: Include all relevant figures and tables within the manuscript, with appropriate captions and citations in the text. References: Cite all sources accurately and provide a comprehensive list of references at the end of the manuscript in APA style 7.
4. Originality and Plagiarism
All submissions must be original works that have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors should acknowledge and cite any sources of information or ideas that are not their own and avoid any form of plagiarism.
5. Ethical Considerations
Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research, including obtaining necessary approvals for studies involving human subjects or animals. Disclose any potential conflicts of interest or funding sources that may have influenced the research or its outcomes.
6. Submission Process
Submit your manuscript through our online submission system, following the instructions provided on our website. Include a cover letter with your submission, briefly outlining the significance of the research and confirming that it meets all the journal's requirements.
7. Peer Review Process
All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer review process by experts in the field. Authors may suggest potential reviewers, but the final selection is at the discretion of the editor.
