This research is motivated by the rapid development of technology, which has had a profound impact on various areas of life, including education. The integration of technology into education, particularly through the use of learning media, has been shown to enhance student learning outcomes. Subjects such as Civic Education are especially suited for the integration of technology as a medium of instruction, with the potential to significantly improve student learning results. This study aims to investigate the impact of utilizing the Quizizz application on the academic performance of tenth-grade students in a civic education course at a public high school in Indonesia. The research employs a quantitative methodology, utilizing a pre-Experimental research design known as the One Group Pre-test-Post-test design. The results indicate that, at the outset, the average student ability score was 43.065, significantly below the desired score of 77. However, following the implementation of the learning intervention using the Quizizz application, the average student score improved to 77.419, surpassing the minimum expected score. Upon conducting the Normalized Gain test, the interpretation revealed a high level of improvement at 39%, a moderate interpretation at 55%, and a lower interpretation at 6%. Subsequently, the hypothesis test was executed, yielding a calculated t-value of -15.222, with a significance level of 0.05, compared against the tabulated t-value of 2.042. The observed t-value falling outside the acceptance range of the null hypothesis (Ho) leads to the rejection of Ho, and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Consequently, it can be concluded that the utilization of the Quizizz application as a learning medium has a notable influence on the academic achievements of tenth-grade students studying civic education.
