Keywords:

This research was motivated by the researcher’s curiosity regarding the influence of Civics Teachers’ role in improving the spirit of mutual cooperation in grade tenth of Motorcycle Engineering and Business of private vocational school. The low awareness among students to participate and engage in mutual cooperation, both in maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom environment and the surrounding areas, prompted this study. Although the school often organizes mutual cooperation activities such as cleaning the yard, field, school premises, and collaborative preparations for school events, only a fraction of the students actively engage in these activities. Some students perceive such activities as easy tasks. This lack of awareness and the tendency of some students to resist scheduled class cleaning contribute to the challenge. Despite the fact that maintaining a clean school environment is a collective responsibility that begins within each class. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of citizenship education teachers on students’ spirit of mutual cooperation. The research design used is descriptive, and the population and sample consist of all students in grade tenth. The results revealed that the role of citizenship teachers in nurturing the spirit of mutual cooperation among grade tenth students in Motorcycle Engineering and Business is considerable. This is evidenced by the proportion of respondents who indicated that they "frequently" participated in mutual cooperation activities. The evidence stems from the questionnaire distributed to 72 students who directly engaged with it. Furthermore, students’ responses lend support to the research title.
