About the Journal

The Journal of Civics and Social Studies is an academic journal published by the Indonesian Institute of Education (Institut Pendidikan Indonesia, IPI) Garut. This journal focuses on the fields of education and learning, specifically related to Civics Education and Pancasila (the foundational philosophical theory of Indonesia), Political Education, Legal and Government Education, and Social Studies (IPS)​

The journal aims to publish research findings, literature reviews, and relevant articles on social sciences and humanities. Each issue covers various topics such as educational theories, teaching methodologies, policy analysis, and the development of innovative teaching models​.

Furthermore, the Journal of Civics and Social Studies supports the dissemination of knowledge and best practices in social education and civics through articles produced by researchers, academics, and practitioners in these fields. The journal publishes articles in both Indonesian and English, allowing for broader dissemination of research findings to a wider audience​. Published 1 year 2 times in June and December
