Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of the need for cognition and mathematical self-efficacy, both partially and simultaneously, on the tendency to think reflectively. Conducted on 74 respondents from the Informatics Engineering study program at Sebelas April University. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach through correlational and regression techniques. The findings show that there is a significant influence of the need for cognition and mathematical self-efficacy, both partially and simultaneously, on the tendency to think reflectively. These results emphasize the importance of integrating aspects of cognitive need and mathematical self-efficacy in mathematics teaching to form reflective thinking tendencies.
